Tower Heist: Revenge Saga

In a Manhattan luxury tower, the building employees learn that their pensions were invested and lost in a scam operated by a someone like Bernard Madoff, only this thief looks and talks like Alan Alda. This is Tower Heist, the topical ensemble comedy directed by Brett Ratner that will soon disappear from cinemas near you. I’ll let you decide whether Ratner’s recent homophobic comments were an attempt to get attention at any cost.

In Tower Heist, Ben Stiller plays the building manager who had the idea to invest with the swindler. He also has the idea to hire Eddie Murphy – who’s in prison — to break into Alda’s penthouse to recover whatever’s left of the cash. It’s a caper movie, and I will let you see it to discover whether the caper works, and whether the movie works.
