Jennifer Joseph Discusses Sculpture As Portals, at PhilSpace in Santa Fe
PhilSpace is one of the most dynamic gallery spaces in Santa Fe judging by its vital gallery exhibitions in 2014 and what little has been sussed out about its 2015 schedule. To begin 2015, an exhibition by Jennifer Joseph, Leftovers: Cool Trash for Future Generations, asked the question of where the boundary exists between physical and non-physical reality or space. The artist delivered a talk at the gallery in January that let AdobeAirstream capture this 50-second video beginning with a question by PhilSpace owner Jamie Hart.
Jennifer Joseph plumbed her studio for “leftover trash for future generations.” This piece is one she believes could expand possibly to infinity.
