Fun Fun Fun Fest Promises Three Times the You Know What
Are you looking to have some fun this weekend? Well, you do not need to look any further than Fun Fun Fun Fest (November 2-4, 2012). That’s right, this laid back younger sibling of ACL Fest is “fun” times three, and judging from personal experience that is a pretty accurate description.
Now in its seventh year, FFF Fest is an eclectically programmed independent music festival that mixes lesser known up-and-coming and underground bands with iconic acts like Run DMC, Public Image Ltd and X. This will be FFF Fest’s second year at Auditorium Shores, and hopefully it will be much less of a post apocalyptic dust bowl than last year’s festival.
If you are not sure who you should check out this year at FFF Fest, we have picked three must-see shows for each day of the fest:
Friday – Bob Mould (performing Copper Blue)
Friday – Superchunk
Friday – X (performing Los Angeles)

Saturday – Real Estate
Saturday – Public Image Ltd (PiL)
Saturday – Girl Talk
Sunday – Ume
Sunday – Class Actress
Sunday – Givers
There is also a ton of really amazing music happening at Fun Fun Fun Nites (which is free for anyone with a FFF Fest wristband), so be sure to check that out too.
Please note that Fun Fun Fun Fest would like for as many of its attendees to use alternative transportation. Besides, who wants to mess with downtown parking when you can bus, bike, shuttle, hike, walk, pedicab, or yellow cab to Auditorium Shores.
