Tonight, Eight Modern OPENS Michelle Cooke, Lora Fosberg and Shaun Gilmore.

Also, Zane Bennett Contemporary Art Gallery OPENS Prints, Contemporary Masters II with George Condo, Richard Diebenkorn, Anish Kapoor, Roy Lichtenstein and Ed Ruscha among others.

Paula Roland’s solo exhibition, Beauty’s Language, OPENS tonight at William Siegal Gallery in the Railyard.

Gebert Contemporary CLOSES Dirk De Bruycker:New Paintings exhibition works, October 1.

October 5, at Photo-eye Gallery, Sondra Goodwin speaks at 6:30 pm.

AUSTIN

Jennifer Caine exhibit OPENS at Co-Lab Project Space, October 1.

On October 2, the Arthouse hosts a lecture, Art 101 at 1 pm, which is free and open to the public. Arthouse also brings guest lecturer Yasufumi Nakamori on October 6.

BEARD, a new book by Matthew Rainwaters, is released at Domy Books on October 5, 6 pm.

Queer States at the VAC, University of Texas. An exhibition curated by Noah Simblist. Showing now through November 5.
